                     Theta Lambda Delta Sorority Inc. was established on July 6,2007 at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan as a constitutionally bound sister organization of Pi Delta Gamma Fraternity, Inc. The Virtuous Women of Theta Lambda Delta Sorority, Inc. stand on the pillars of Sisterhood, Leadership, Service, & Scholarship and share the principles of Integrity & Dedication with the Honorable Men of Pi Delta Gamma Fraternity Inc. (www.pideltagammafraternity.com) 

                    Along with the founders of Pi Delta Gamma Fraternity, Inc., our most Honorable founding mother, Danielle C. Peterson, also envisioned a change within African American Greek fraternities and sororities. Since it's birth, The Honorable Danielle C. Peterson along with the eight honorary founders of Theta Lambda Delta Sorority, Inc., has created a legacy that we will now and forever be proud of.

                    Throughout the past year, Theta Lambda Delta Sorority, Inc. has grown at a tremendous rate because of her ability to stand out from the rest and her determination to represent CHANGE. The ladies of Theta Lambda Delta Sorority, Inc exemplify what the Proverbs 31 is: "For her worth is FAR above rubies."

                   Through sisterhood, "Her future is uncertain but her undying love lives on forever." Through leadership, "she sets the trend as she prepares to change the world one LADY at a time." Through scholarship, "she exceeds academic expectations." Through service, "she serves the community with pride, dignity, & honor."
