The Honorable Danielle C. Peterson founded Theta Lambda Delta Sorority Inc. on July 6, 2007 at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan as a constitutionally bound sisterhood of Pi Delta Gamma Fraternity Inc. With her Honorable Brothers she established a bond founded upon Integrity and Dedication and to her organization she pledged Virtuosity and Quality. Danielle C. Peterson translated her mission of change through the Four Pillars of which the organization stands upon; Sisterhood, Leadership, Education and Public Service. With the five honorary founders of Theta Lambda Delta Sorority Inc., their vision of change was realized and Greek Life was revolutionized. To embody its mission, “service beginning with sisterhood, sisterhood originating from leadership” was selected as the motto for the dynamic organization

         The sisters of Theta Lambda Delta Sorority Incorporated are committed to the founding Four Pillars and demonstrate their dedication to our unique sisterhood through maintaining a bond which promotes continuous growth and unity; striving to act as strong leaders within the community and the organization; demonstrating academic and professional excellence, and promoting and participating in service efforts within our communities. We encompass these principals within our everyday lives and provide young women with support and compassion while positively motivating young women to achieve educational excellence, serve the community and develop relationships built on loyalty and trust."
